What we collect

Your contact details, date of birth, driving and PCO licence details, licence check results, proof of address, rental, payment and vehicle use records, and correspondence.

Why

To assess your application, check you can lawfully and safely drive our vehicles, arrange insurance, manage the rental and payments, deal with fines, accidents and claims, and meet legal obligations.

Licence checks

We check your driving licence with the DVLA only with your permission, using a check code you provide. We do not need your National Insurance number.

Who we share it with

Insurers and brokers, licensing authorities, issuing authorities for fines, repairers when needed, and payment providers. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Rental and financial records are kept for 6 years after your last rental; unsuccessful applications for 12 months. After that personal details are removed.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, corrections or deletion where the law allows. Contact admin@shelgram.co.uk.
